Veeam Data Platform backs up virtual machines, physical servers, endpoints and cloud workloads under the same set of policies. In v13 the management layer was rebuilt, simplifying deployment and upgrades.
Having a backup is not enough on its own — you have to show that recovery works. Automated verification jobs boot the backup in an isolated environment and test it, and the output serves as evidence in audits.
