FAP-441K FORTINET WIRELESS ACCESS NETWORK & WIRELESS
Fortinet FortiAP 441K
Wi-Fi 7 indoor access point managed from FortiGate or the cloud, with no separate controller.
§ 01OVERVIEW
FortiAP 441K stops the wireless network being a separate island and makes it part of the security architecture. When access points are managed directly from the FortiGate, the policy applied to a wireless user comes from the same rule set as a wired one.
The extra bandwidth of Wi-Fi 7 relieves simultaneous video traffic in busy meeting rooms and open offices. Coverage measurement and channel planning after installation are reported by the Elit Arge team.
